The Tillson T3 (triple-exponential) moving average has become an industry standard for non-adaptive noise filtration. It is simple to calculate, executes very fast and offers a parameter for controling the classic tradeoff between lag and overshoot. The waterfall indicator plots six T3 moving averages with different values for the tradeoff parameter.

Note how all six filters cross each other at the same points. These critical points might serve as good locations for market entries and exits.
