The chart shows an orange band around price. Price pushes the band up or down and CFB determines how long the band stays flat before contracting. The user specifies upper and lower limits for the amount of delay before contraction and CFB works within that range.

This novel idea provides a stochastic (CFB channel Index) as shown below. This oscillator represents the relative location of price within the CFB channel.
